There is a new Texas Welterweight champion, and its none other than our very own TJ Waldburger. 1:37 into the 1st round, then Texas Welterweight Champion Shannon Ritch tapped out due to a TJ Waldburger Armbar. With Waldburger's wins usualy coming in the first round, a quick submission was no surprise. Chalk another one up for the Grappler's lair, but this time add a little more to the win, because this one came with 2 bonuses; the Shark Fights Texas Welterweight Title and a victory versus the most active fighter in MMA.
